A vigorous grower with a long growing season, it will provide fresh leaves from early summer into fall, and year-round in mild climates. Red stem varieties are generally more bolt and cold tolerant and more productive than other varieties. Fresh young leaves are great for salads or in sautéed dishes.  It can be grown in containers for a kitchen garden and grows up to 24 inches tall.  A cut and come again variety.
