Papaw’s Garden Supply: Helping The Next Generation To Grow With   Nature.

The Provider Bush Green Beans are known as the most dependable early green bean, this easy-to-grow variety offers excellent flavor and is one of the best for freezing and canning. It germinates well in cooler soil, adapts to diverse soil and climate conditions, and is disease-resistant. Round, 5"–8" long, rounded, straight pods grow heavily on compact plants. Snap beans are ready to pick when the pod "snaps" or breaks in half cleanly. This is when the seeds have just begun to form and the pods are several inches long. 'Provider' is a high-yielding and early-producing bean with great disease resistance to bean common mosaic virus (NY15), pod mottle virus, and mildew.

How to Grow Your Provider Bush Green Beans:

  • Suggested Planting Depth: ½-1 inches in rows or solid seeded
  • Suggested Planting Seasons:   Spring, Summer, Fall
  • Suggested Final Plant Spacing:  2-4 inches apart
  • Suggested Planting Configuration: Single row or solid seeded wide row block
  • Maintain a weed-free seed bed in full sun and with adequate moisture
