Papaw’s Garden Supply: Helping The Next Generation To Grow With Nature.

German White Heirloom Garlic is a Hardneck variety that typically has 4-7 symmetrical large cloves per bulb that is very easy to peel. German White garlic is very hardy, and flavorful, it is a very good all-purpose variety and is among the best varieties for roasting. It grows with a garlic scape which is the flower of the garlic plant.  The scape should be snapped off; so that the stem starts to curl to send the energy to the bulb rather than the flower. This type of garlic is known to produce larger heads with fewer bulbs, but with more complex flavors! Medium spicy flavor.
