Giant Parat Radish is known for its huge baseball size; however, at any size, they remain sweet, tender, and free from cracks. These giant red radishes take about a month to grow to full size but can be harvested earlier when they are smaller as well. It never gets too hot or fibrous. You can enjoy their sweet and mild flavor at a larger size. They're a favorite vegetable for fresh eating, salads, and platters. Sow seeds in early spring for a spring crop and sow again in late summer for a fall crop.

How to Grow Your Giant Parat Radishes:

  • Suggested Planting Depth: 1/4 inch
  • Suggested Planting Seasons:  Spring or Fall
  • Suggested Final Plant Spacing:  2-4 inches apart after thinning
  • Suggested Planting Configuration: Single Row or Solid seeded Wide row block.
  • Maintain a weed-free seed bed in Full sun and with adequate moisture.
